Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2025 guide described East Anglia as “enigmatic” and celebrated it for offering “a true taste of old England”.

Not sure they had fieldsports in mind when compiling the guide but that is a big part of why it’s a great place to visit for all types of countryside pursuits.
