SIMULATED DRIVEN GAME DAYS
Simulated game shooting experiences are built to closely replicate the thrill and excitement of the best game shoots. With challenging clay targets in formats from partridge through pheasant and grouse such days are guaranteed to be a year round, fun filled, experience.
Days are run on very similar lines to traditional driven game shooting only with clay targets not live quarry. We can put on several different ‘drives’ with different levels of difficulty. Simulated days can be adapted to the requirements and experience of the Guns, making this the perfect set up for any stag party, corporate event, as an introduction to the game season, a teaching aid or simply a fun day out. Generally a team of 14/16 Guns split into two teams one shooting one loading on each ‘drive’.
Although the days are set out to replicate the best game shooting, simulated game days will always provide a large range of targets. As clays and traps are more predictable than live game, you are guaranteed a successful days sport. With no shortage of clays in the air on a simulated shoot Guns will be kept busy loading and shooting on each simulated ‘drive’. Be warned; you will shoot several hundred cartridges! We suggest on a standard day maybe 250/300 but experienced Guns who are fast loaders and shooters have been known to fire off 400/500.
Simulated Shooting has enabled a much loved sport to be enjoyed all year round with some of the keenest game shots trying their skills at alternative targets. All of our shoots are planned and set out by AAA graded shooting coaches with long experience and expert knowledge along with an experienced team of helpers to provide a simulated experience for a great day out. Days can be formulated to clients specific requirements but usually 4 drives, a partridge drive, a duck drive, a high pheasant drive and a grouse drive. All days are fully catered, morning coffee/tea with bacon rolls, mid-morning drinks and snacks, a midday lunch and afternoon tea and Guns are transported around the shoot in a gun bus.
